Parkour
Parkour can be described as free running, urban gymnastics or precision jumping which is delivered way similar to martial arts.
LIFE CIC has been delivering structured and safe indoor and outdoor Parkour sessions around Yorkshire for the last 3 years. All our instructors have trained with Parkour UK the NGB for Parkour and have current CRB checks and First Aid qualifications. This fun and exciting discipline is an innovative and modern fusion of street fitness and gymnastics to give full body conditioning.
Parkour Training Overview:
- Conditioning and fitness routines to prepare the body and mind for physical activity.
- Introduction and exploration of Parkour and the ethos behind the art form.
- Combinations of actions, agilities and transitions emphasising on quality and dynamic control.
- Strength and suppleness training to provide stability, tension and extension in their work.
